I am loving my new fixed lens and am having a hard time putting it away. It really is teaching me a lot with regards to focus and lighting. All of these shots were taking at a F1.8. The shots of Mouse and Rocky our hyper dogs I had to take at a much higher shutter speed then the other two photos. I am learning that lighting really is key in capturing the perfect shot. Artistically I feel like I am starting to look at everything throughout the day as if I was looking through a lens. Some more great shots tomorrow as we are going to the Chinese cultural center. Should be another adventure.
